Food Photography Workshop for kids

Workshop Details:

• Duration: The workshop will run for approximately 1.5 hours, allowing ample time for a brief presentation on composition techniques followed by a hands-on photography session.
• Date and Time: I propose hosting the workshop on  Sunday, September 10th. Morning hours would be ideal, starting around 11:00 AM.

Workshop Content:

• Introduction to Food Photography: We will begin with a brief presentation that introduces the kids to the fundamentals of food photography. This will cover composition techniques, lighting considerations, and using props effectively to create visually stunning food images.
• Composition Techniques: We will delve into various composition techniques, such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and color coordination. I will demonstrate these techniques and encourage the participants to apply them during the practical session.
• Practical Session: The highlight of the workshop will be a hands-on photography session where the kids get to capture tea and cake setups. To enhance their compositions, we can incorporate fresh fruit props that they can play with. Additionally, using the plants available in the restaurant as additional props will provide a unique touch to their photographs.

Equipment and Materials: Participants will be required to bring their own digital devices for photography, including tablets or phones. As the instructor, I will provide lighting panels to ensure optimal lighting conditions during the practical session. I will also bring fresh fruit props and tea leaves to complement the food setup.
