Janice has been interested in fermenting for years, experimenting and researching these ancient methods, with very modern benefits for our health. She is often referred to as The Queen of Fermentation, such is her obsession with all things fermented! she has a background is in Food Science, a macrobiotic qualification and an MSc in Analytical Biochemistry. She is a massive foodie, blogger and a passionate promoter of a plant-based diet. So, what is all the fuss about Fermented Foods? All illness starts in the gut, heal the gut you heal yourself. The best way to do this is to introduce fermented foods and drinks into your diet so come along to this workshop and find out just how amazing these foods and drinks are.
This workshop will introduce you to a selection of prebiotic, probiotic, fermented foods, including sourdough, fermented veggies, kimchi, fermented garlic, kombucha and water kefir, all packed with probiotics to support health on every level. . There will be plenty of fermented foods and drinks to try and lots of information. You gut and your taste buds will thank you; so come and join us for a fun and informative session! Just to tempt you, there will be probiotic chocolate, sourdough cookies, fermented dips, canapés, and much more!
