About The Event

Join qualified Forest Bathing guide Zoe MacGregor for a seasonal Forest Bathing experience. Zoe will guide you through a series of invitations that will help you slow down, using your senses to notice and connect more deeply with the natural world around you. Giving yourself the gift of time for Forest Bathing has proven health and wellbeing benefits and we will finish with a small tea ceremony.

Participants must be over 18 and although we’re not walking far or fast, please dress for the weather. Sit mats can be provided.

What to expect

A forest bathing walk lasts approximately 2 hours and covers a short distance of about 1 mile. A guided session is based on a series of invitations that offer ways of using your senses and surroundings to slow down and connect more deeply with the natural world around us.

What to wear and bring

Please dress to be warm enough for moving more slowly than you would normally on a walk. We will also be spending time standing, sitting or maybe lying down and you need to be warm and dry. If you have one, please bring a sit mat but I’ll bring some too. Depending on the time of year, please dress to protect yourself from ticks, midges or even sunshine. We will be leaving the main path so sturdy footwear is advised. Although the walk is very slow it can be uneven underfoot or muddy. As we will be out for two hours, you might like to bring a bottle of water. We’ll finish with a small tea ceremony and some snacks.

Any health concerns?

If you have any health concerns or conditions that you want the guide to be aware of or think might affect your ability to participate please contact me in advance of the session on .
