About The Event
Matteo Ladas is an Italian chef based in Glasgow, currently collaborating with Baked-Pizza al Taglio, in Duke Street. His cooking background is fine dining.
In his food, he tries to bring the flavours of Italy and Mediterranean cuisine, under a fresher and more modern light.
In this workshop, he will demo how to make a selection of recipes consumed frequently in the south of Italy which are traditionally vegan: a bean soup pasta, courgettes with mint and garlic, roasted aubergines with basil and almonds.
During the demonstration, guests will have the chance to learn easy and quick techniques for cooking similar dishes at home. Beyond that, they’ll have the chance to have a chat about basic concepts of Italian food and the Mediterranean diet.
The food will be then served as a three-course menu, in small plate size.
