About The Event

Join Karené, at Soul Food Kitchen for a practical workshop on taking photos of food. This workshop is for *DSLR camera owners who want to learn the basics of taking photos using manual settings on

their cameras.

We will look at the basics of

• aperture

• speed

• and balancing the two!

I have a Fine Art Degree in photography (2001) and have specialized in food photography for the past 8 years. I cannot teach you everything that I have learned in my 18-odd years of photography in a 3 hour crash course, but I can help you go beyond those automatic settings that just don’t give you the results you’re looking for.

For this workshop a DSLR camera is essential and preferably a simple tripod too.

Tickets are £35 which includes your 3-4 hour food photography workshop, your main course and dessert at Soul Food

Kitchen (which we will also be photographing).

Tickets are limited and normally sell out so make sure to book soon. I look forward to meeting you!

(*DSLR cameras have a mirror system inside and removable lenses. You are able to adjust the aperture and speed and override the automatic settings)
